Since version 12 of Microsoft Office,  Microsoft has introduced Khmer language pack. With Khmer language pack on Microsoft office allow Cambodian user using Microsoft Office in their Language. The Khmer language is available in interface and screen tips with some Office Application such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. But for another product of Microsoft Office, 2007 was not supported with Khmer Language interface yet. The next version of Microsoft Software product such as Microsoft Office Microsoft Windows and another product mostly supported Khmer Language pack.

By using Khmer Language Interface on Microsoft Office will allow starter user easy to use the Office application. Cambodian People who can’t read English or another language easy to understand how to use a feature of Microsoft Office with their mother tong language. And also they can learn more the about Microsoft Office feature by screen tips in the Khmer Language too.

In this post will show you step by step to installing Khmer Language Pack for Microsoft Office 2010. The Office 2010 still the most popular in cambodia. even Microsoft released the new version of Office such as Office 2013 and Office 2016. To install the Office Language Pack please following instruction below:

Step 1: Download Khmer Language  on Office Microsoft Website by link blow

Download for Office 2010, 64 version
Download  for Office 2010, 32-bit version

To choose to download the correct version of your Office 2010, please check the version of you Office. Please check that your office is the 32bit or 64bit version. You can find the information on go to File => Help and looking for your Office version on left side.

Step 2: Go to your setup file download directory and click on the install file to install => Click continue. When inhalation Click “close.”

Step 3: Change Office language to the Khmer language: Go to File => Option => Language in “Choose Display Language and Help Language“. Please section select “Khmer (ខ្មែរ)” => click on “Set as Default“. To confirm your change, please click “ok”. The Office 2010 will switch to the Khmer Language when you restart you Office latter.

The Office 2010 will switch to the Khmer Language when you restart you Office latter.

After you finish the installation, then you can be using Microsoft Office in the Khmer Language. And also the screen tip in the ribbon changed to the Khmer Language.
